My Voice Experience

Writing; Voicing; Producing for Radio, TV, Stage..Done and Done....
I began a rather long career in high school designing audio (creating, selecting, editing, recording music and effects for productions) and implementing the equipment to play it. This I continued into community and professional theatre; adding writing, acting and directing to the mix while playing cameraman, floor director, lighting guy in TV and on-camera commercial talent (agency work, mostly). At home, I was building audio recording studios; playing radio; comparing myself to all those pros on the air and making corrections.
During military service (including Vietnam), I did on- air work and production in radio; continuing full time post discharge. I worked my way into programming and promotion. I have, to date, created and programmed several different formats at 12 very different radio stations. Currently, I am handling commercial and promotional production and programming for two more, from home. And so it goes....

My Training

Aside from a year at Indiana Univerity (where I was also an employee of the radio & television service), I am self-educated in Radio, TV, Theatre, etc. It has been my pleasure to pass on some of this practical knowledge by teaching at broadcast schools and by working with students during 17 years as an employee of Ohio State University.

My Studio Equipment

I create, edit and record in my own studio with Cool Edit Pro using various mikes, mixers, effects generators, etc. depending on the project. I ship just about everything via e-mailed MP3; be it to ABC Radio, or to a client in Little Guy, Ohio.

Additional Skills

I believe my practical knowledge of, and experience with the creative voice over process and related fields qualifies me to handle just about any project. Try me...It should be a fun experience for both of us!!!
