My Voice Experience

Radio advertising for a swimming pool contractor, protrayed the expert role in construction, remodeling, design, etc. impromptu situation on live broadcast. Was prompted off mike by true experts who advised me on answers.

Used my voice in my own ventures in sales to get throgh the "gatekeepers" to the true decision maker. On one occasion through a series of cold calls gathering information, worked my way from the Houston office, to a refinery, gathering names and titles along the way until I was referred to the Chicago home office of British Petroleum where I eventually wound up at Exec V.P. in charge of world wide refined products secretary. Having his first name, I promptly asked to speak with "Mike" and was put through. Quickly I introduced myself properly, assuring him this was not a prank call, and asked for 3 min of his time and then if there was no interest he would never hear from me again. I got my audience and I got $15 million of gasoline for my client, who was selling to the Government of Venezuala.

My Training

Bachelor of Science, North Carolina State University at Raleigh. Continuing education in in finance and business from the Wharton School of Business and Pepperdine University. Working in the chemicals and financial industry,I developed advertising and promotional campaigns, wrote scripts and did voice for entire commercials as well as conducted net meetings and broadcasts. Provided voice over for an infomercial and tv advertisments featuring hotels, airlines, and auto dealers.

My Studio Equipment

I am not knowledgeable about audio equipment, I am simply a talent and utilize studios in my area or in the area of my client to provide the professional equipment to produce the required effect.

Additional Skills

I have spent many years in the financial, chemical, and real estate industry, being twice certified by the courts to provide expert advice to Bankruptcy Trustees in dealing with assets. I can speak authoritatively and knowledably in all those areas. There will not be a subject matter that do not have some familiarity with and therefore can provide smooth, intelligible, authoritative voice work in all of those areas. For instance, I was product manager for Gulf Oil Chemicals in their organic chemicals division. Benzophenone tetra-carboxylic dianhydride rolls off my tounge like you would order a hamburger without pickles.
