You know, I have wanted to be a voice actor since I was a kid. Mostly since I learned who Mel Blanc was, and what he did!
In seventh grade I decided not to just read like everyone else, and that day when I finished reading in calss, there was momentary silence, and then, "Woah!" Since then I have worked at reading with energy and expression.
I have acted on stage, travelled the world as a vocalist, and been the frontman for one of the traveling groups I was a part of. As a vocalist I have been part of a half dozen albums, including one project in Sloveen.
As to my professional voice acting experience, in 1995 my wife, myself, and two friends did a thirty second spot for Waste Management, and in June 2007 I recorded a 4 minute narration for the "Modern Grid Initiative."
I have had private voice coaching with Veronica Wykle.
I've done some seminar's.
As a vocalist, I've heard many times how well I adapt my voice to the project.
All my life my mother has called me a mimic, I tend to addapt to the style and way of the people I am speaking to. This, I believe has given me the experience and ability to fit my voice to the needs of the project.
