Voice Description
I have a deep, Bronx accented voice. I am able to emote what the situation calls for ranging from warmth to rage. After retiring from the FDNY I conducted firedrills and seminars in office buildings throughout Manhattan averaging ten to fifteen speeches a day. I am not good at accents but I constantly have people telling me that I should get into the voiceover business. Here I am.

My Voice Experience
Ruth Messinger, who ran for Mayor of New York City, came up to me after I gave a fire drill on her floor and told me that it was the best fire drill that she had ever attended and that I should try voiceovers.
I work in construction safety now and used to eat my lunch in Churchill Park (at Bleeker and Sixth Aveneue). One day in September 2007 an old lady walked up to me and told me that she had retired from advertising and that I should get into the voiceover business. Here I am.
My Training
I took speech in college. My father was a lawyer from the old school and would not tolerate poor speech. I was taught by Sister of Charity Nuns and Jesuit Priests.
