I am known for a clear, smooth, Midwestern American sound. However, I was born & raised in Tennessee. A Southern or Western Cowboys feel is my native accent. I can lay the Southern accent of heavy, Medium, or light just the way you like it!

My Voice Experience

Tom has more than 25 years of voice over experience in radio and television. Tom not only can voice but has worked as on camera talent. His many years in live radio/tv brings a wealth of experience. Besides voice talent, Tom is a creative video/audio editor for radio, television, internet, etc.. Tom has his own audio/video studio.

My Training

Most of Tom's training was from the daily grind of broadcasting. In 1982, one week out of high school, Tom began working as a radio announcer and continued learning from seasoned professionals while attending college. In later years, He owned his own production company and school of broadcasting for more than 10 years.
Now voices and works in televison and radio in Southern Illinois.

My Studio Equipment

Because most of my voice work involves broadcast news & radio, I use EV RE20's as my main voice over tools at my studio. I work with a IMAC loaded with LEOPARD,FINAL CUT STUDIO 2, and ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE for all my voice work and audio/video editing.

Additional Skills

Other than voicing, Tom is a skilled producer/editor producing daily radio and television image promos and spots. Final Cut Pro, After Effects and other audio software applications are as ealy as riding a bike to him. Tom's videography skills add to his media knowledge. His work has been seen on many television networks. He has been the focus of many newspaper articles and national trade magazines such as Videography, Videomaker, and Government Video magazine.
