Voice Description
I have a strong baritone voice, but I am actor and can do just about any kind of character and presentation. I am especially successful at ad lib type commercials for restaurants and can make people's mouths water. My demo shows some of this.
I can do laid back and very hot commercials, and I have been doing a lot of Interactive CD narration. Many producers would not think of using anyone but me.

My Voice Experience
I started on-air as a DJ at age 15. I went from there to station ownership, but my voice and my ability to please advertisers was probably the most important part of each and every step along the way.
You can depend on me to do it the way you want it. As the promo and liner voice for the CBS Oldies station in Tampa Bay, the program director wanted nearly everything deep down in my voice, but I prefer giving any message its full meaning. That means that I can really put sell and interpretation into your commercials or narratives. You can hear some of those promos and liners
My Training
My undergraduate degree is in theatre, but I took all of the radio speech classes along the way. When I returned from the military and back too college, my radio teacher had me do a weekly TV interview program. The manager of the local NBC station saw it and asked me to go too work for them. I was already the afernoon drive jock on a local radio station, but I agreed to do some weekends and fill-in, which I did until I graduated and moved on to larger markets.

Additional Skills
I am able to record most voice work and e mail it quickly. Just last week, however; I did a forty minute script that was too long to e mail, so I put it on CDs in both WAV and MP3. I hand delivered them, and to my amazement, had a check in a few days, plus assurance that I am now "their voice."
