Voice Description
I would describe my voice as being deep, rich, and conversational, somewhat similar to what you might hear on a nightly newscast as the announcer introduces the anchor. As far as commercials or promotional announcement go, my voice would best be used in a "soft sell" manner, where the goal is to establish trust with the viewer/listener rather than pressure them.
I also feel my voice would be a great addition to a longform program, such as a documentary or a corporate training video as the lead narrator.

My Voice Experience
I've used my voice in a variety of ways in recent years, serving such roles as public address announcer for my high school basketball team, news anchor and reporter for a commercial radio station, and play-by-play announcer for a junior college basketball team. While serving as a play-by-play announcer, I also produced commericals and promotional announcements for the radio station I worked at.
More recently, I have served as the narrator for two documentaries produced during my time as a graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
My Training
I received my bachelor's degree in broadcasting at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May, 2000 and my Master of Arts degree in journalism.
