Voice Description

My voice can be described as conversational in the 20's to 50's age range, wry and witty with a fun or serious regular guy sound for commercials. I have a trusting voice but can get charactery when needed. I can range from a regular guy sound (sophisticated or blue collar) for first person type ads to more announcery/high energy for fast food, restaurant or automobile type ads. I have a friendly, variable voice for presentations, greetings or industrial type copy which can keep the audience interested. I am available to record in NYC studios as well as other studios in the NY, NJ and CT area.

My Studio Equipment

My home studio consists of a Rode NT-1A condenser microphone shock mounted with an sE Electronics Reflexion Filter Pro situated behind the microphone. This coupled with Auralex 2" Foam Wedge acoustic tiles covering the space around me creates a dry and quiet recording zone allowing for very clean and powerful voice pick-up. I record to a Tascam DR-40 Digital Recorder in WAV format and edit on a new iMac using equalization, compression and normalization.
