Voice Description

For narrations, I can speak clearly and give the correct feel to the project. I can play several different ways for commercials, including fun and outgoing, wild, emphasizing humor where it is practical. For presentations, I can put the point across, leaving the listener completely comprehensive as to what is going on.
I have sufficient knowledge of dialects, including Standard British, Cockney, Scottish, German, Australian, Southern American, and New York. I have a good ear for dialects and pick them up fairly easily and quickly.
I can do excellent imitations of Ed Wynn, Paul Lynde, Sean Connery, Mickey Mouse, Cartman (South Park), Fat Albert, Stewie and Peter (Family Guy), Bullwinkle. I can also spoof an tenor or baritone opera singer and a stereotypical homosexual. I can provide a gruff voice for a monster or lion.

My Voice Experience

Most of my experience comes from just experimenting and letting my voice find new places to have fun. I've used several dialects in stage productions as well as amateur films and recorded radio shows. I've played characters in recorded songs as well, often singing as more than one character in the same song. I have provided voices for a few flash cartoons, and have been M.C. at a coffee house at a college.

My Training

I have a B.A. in Theatre (Performance) from Western Connecticut State University, which is where most of my theatrical experience stems from. I have taken voice and diction classes, and practice the Linklater technique. Though its relevancy may not seem clear, I played baritone trumpet for 7 years, which helped immensely with correct breathing techniques, which I find essential to the voice over field.
