My Voice Experience

I have been a vocal and physical performer from the age of ten. I have performed on stages, indoor and out, on video and film. I have read for radio reading services and performed in radio drama. I have provided voice samples for interactive CD-ROMs

My Training

My work in live theatre and audio-visual work put me in touch with people in the recording industry and interested me in voiceover work as a sideline. As an actor, the very beginning of all my onstage personas is how the character will sound. All of my acting training, formal or not has been geared towards honing my "instrument"...my voice.

My background in AV helps me understand the technical side of voiceover work. My stage training has helped understand both storytelling and character development, and eclectic theatrical career...from professional stage to carnival bally...has helped broaden my view of what can be done with only a voice and imagination.
