Voice Description

Well-versed in the English language and its diction/enunciation. Mostly I have a soothing voice most suited for, say, audio books, MOR radio broadcasting, and narration.

I have a keen sense of infusing tangible emotion in my vocal talent when needed, as I have experimented in various forms of voice-over artistry..mostly characterizations of animals and offbeat human characters, although I haven't had the opportunity of a professional career in the vocal talent industry as of yet.

Doing voice-overs would present a challenge to me that I would welcome with open arms, as I enjoy challenges, and expressing my talent vocally and in a tangible fashion.

My Voice Experience

My professional experience in the vocal talent field has been limited to 1-1/2 years as an on-air announcer at a small market FM radio station in Saint Paul, Mn., named KNOF 95.3 FM.

During my employment there I was in "heaven", being able to be on the radio, even though short-lived, was a dream come true for me.

My greatest asset is my voice, whether it's speaking, or singing.

My Training

None of my training was professional, except for my education in radio/television broadcasting 1990-91 at Brown College, formerly of Minneapolis, Mn., but now located in Mendota Heights, Mn.

I am currently getting my feet wet in Internet Broadcasting, putting out "feelers" for DJ gigs on a Virtual World MMORPG internet "game" called Second Life.

I have a natural ability it seems to be able to immerse myself into the content that I am either reading from a script, or, more of my forte, improvising material of different characters and situations.

I've been learning and utilizing audio/visual creation since I was 9 years old..mic placement, different recording tweaks and techniques to "clean" up sound and so forth.

Becoming a voice-over artist has always been one of my dreams, next to owning my own radio station.
