In my 17 years of experience, I have been to space and all the way back down to the "Redneck Olympics".
I provided the narrative for an interactive tour of the International Space Station that was given to Congress by NASA, in an effort to increase funding.
However, a little "down home" fun can be a good thing. I was the narrative voice of "Grandpa Yokel" for Turner South Network's "Yokel" tv series. We were lucky enough to win a regional Emmy for Best Special Event Program.
Scattered around between these extreme opposite jobs, I have done work for:
-Promo and Sizzle Reels for HGTV
-Radio spots for McDonald's throughout the southeast
-Voice of "DIY Basics" on DIY Network
-Promotional spots for PBS
-Promo spot for Nascar (New Hampshire Speedway)
-Short features for GAC Network
-Features for the jumbotron at The University Of Tennessee stadium.
-Voice of Stryker Orthopedics Infomercials.
-Pay Per View promos for the Sturgis Cycle Rally.
-Pitch work for several national cable TV production companies.
-The Great Smoky Mtns. Visitor's Channel
-Intros for the "Dirt Poor Comedy Tour" DVD release.
-Industrial training narration for numerous industries
-Virtual tour of Chattanooga
-Radio commercials in Knoxville, Tennessee
-Cable TV commercials in Knoxville, Tennessee
I got into voice over work in my high school broadcasting class and hosted my own radio show. After high school, I worked part time in radio, while touring around the east coast in an original rock band.
After several years, I decided to plant roots and concentrate on broadcasting and voice work. Since that time, I have worked consistently in voice overs.
I still play music, but only for my enjoyment. My true passion is voice over work and production.
