Voice Description

My voice, is like any other tool for a musician, I can do nearly anything with this instrument, included but not limited to dialects/accents (I will probably need coaching on some dialetcs/accents and I hope that is not a problem).
If I must, for a character role, I am willing and able to learn as many languages as I am needed to to fill out a roll. I can do a handful of famous cartoon characters (the best one that comes to mind is a dead on bubu bear from yogi bear), I am also able to manipulate my voice in a manner to perfectly do any type of sinister creature that speaks and I do it without the use of a pitch shifter or harmonizer (pitch shifters and harmonizers are expensive pieces of gear that only make a pefectly good voice sound perfectly awful).

My Voice Experience

I am new at this so I do not expect everyone to knock on my door and ask me to do a part, I have no experience in this field at all yet I am willing to work with anyone that requires a unique set of pipes like mine and knows I am willing to work until the job is done no matter what, even if it means 24 hours of solid recording.

As mentioned in my voice description I am a musician, so I can sing somewhat (though it's not recommend unless I obtain lessons), I have done vocal work for my two bands (both heavy metal bands) over the last ten years, some parts have called for me to sing, others to speak and still others to grunt and growl (like a death metal vocalist).

My Training

I have no formal training, everything I do with my voice I taught myself how to do. Though I do watch a lot of cartoons and when I see a character I really enjoy I stubbornly do my best to come close to matching the voice only to see if I am able to do it.

I am a musician so i know the inside of recording studios, to me a voice over talent is no different than a vocalist doing a vocal take on an album, sure one can do several takes of the same part, but the more time spent means that the money the company in question has investing in the project is being lost. I somewhat understand both sides of the music industry (both business and the performance aspects) I have been a muscian for over 20 years and have self released several recordings in the last ten. My experience in the recording studio has been vital in my understanding of frequency response, delivery and attack when it comes to doing vocal takes for anything regarding recorded media.
