My Voice Experience

My experience is limited to reading out loud to children on almost a nightly basis to reading through creative collateral in my job. I am constantly using my voice in many ways to sell clients, soothe children and excite cute dogs on the side of a New York City street. Although I am not a professional, I am very in tune with my voice, it is a tool and I use it as such daily. I believe that being and "amateur" yet constantly performing with my voice in daily life makes me an ideal candidate for varied projects.

My Training

It all started in 5th grade show choir! I had to learn to sing and dance at the same time; I truly believe that's where it all began. I'm not the greatest singer, but I am a great Karaoke’er and pride myself on my singing-to-the-radio skills. I have no formal training, but would be open to receiving it. Again, I am a raw talent but through my singing "career" have learned how to control tone and pitch and mix in breathing on top of it.

In my "real" life I work for a real estate advertising agency, my entire day is speaking on the phone and dealing with people; leaving messages, reading aloud for presentations, soothing erratic co-workers. I relate to people in a very unique way and I just know a lot about a lot of things! I am a natural artist and performer, I love to draw, paint and sew. I have a professional life with an artist’s soul.
