Voice Description

My voice is like me: A sarcastic, loud, energetic, fun 20-something who speaks plainly. I have a lot of fun when I record, and I think that comes through in my read. My voice isn't very deep, but it has plenty of character. And that's it: My voice is character driven.

I can do decent Irish and UK accents, and a bit 'over the top' Russian, Hindi, New York, German and Senior Male voices. I do plenty of character voices, mostly made up by myself, though I'm willing to try whatever is put in front of me.

My Voice Experience

I work as a radio producer, so I have done quite a few commercials, but I've branched out into the creative with a personally written, voiced, and produced feature where I play a New York cab driver who answers questions to humorous effect. I've been in radio for approximately 3 years, and have been doing the 'cab driver' feature for about 6 months.

My Training

I have a diploma in radio broadcasting, and am currently investigating classes and seminars to help iron out and expand my voicing abilities.

My Studio Equipment

I have access to a professional recording studio: Arrakis broadcast board, Electro-Voice RE20 XLR mics, Antex Audio Board in my PC (PCI LX-44), and an isolated recording booth.

Additional Skills

I'm doing this because I love being creative behind the mic. I'm willing to try whatever people throw in front of me, and am excited about every prospect available to me. I'm easy to talk to, which means I'm more than willing to hear any criticisms or suggestions, and I want to do every job right.
