My Voice Experience

My main experience has come from doing my own radio show on a college radio station. I was in charge of the scripting, production, and hosting of the program, and had to convey a variety of emotions and information based on the content of each show. I also worked at Faith FM, voicing promotions and artist features to be inserted into their pre-recorded programming.

My Training

I have completed a three-year program of Broadcasting at Conestoga College in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. We were involved in many workshops to train our voices for on-air radio, as well as studying theory of different types of commerical sells(soft sell, hard sell, etc.) Another part of our training at the college included the technical side of voice recording/production, and the mixing of voice with music and sound effects to create the final product.

I have taking many acting classes and courses both within my education and extra-cirricular activities. I am comfortable on stage or in front of a microphone or camera, and have experience in assuming roles for a production.

Additional Skills

I have worked in several radio and television productions, and I am familiar with the challenges of these different media platforms. My experience allows me to perform well in either area.

Besides voiceovers and voice acting, I am trained in audio production and editing, and can assist in the mixing of audio tracks to create the final product.
