My Voice Experience

Stand-up comedian from Detroit now living in NYC. have performed on many stages in NYC. I have done lots of voices and characters in my act as well as in radio where I worked as reporter, producer, and doing commercials back in Michigan. My dream was to come to NYC and do voice-overs as many have told me to do so. I need a break. I am not represented. Have tried to freelance for The Paradigm Agency to no avail. I have a strong voice that can go anywhere and adapt to any situation, I can be very funny and very serious. I am also a strong performer and command attention with my voice.

My Training

I studied Broadcasting and Radio Production in college and have a BA from Western Michigan University 1996. As a comic, I've taken it as a personal endeavor to mimic and mock as many voices as I possibly can over my years growing up and have sat hour after hour falling in and out of different voices trying to work out new bits of material. I love cadence and delivery it is so important in getting a point across. I will be a lifetime student of voice.

Additional Skills

I currently work in commercial real estate in NYC where I do a lot of phone work. The key to phone work and keeping someone on the phone is making them comfortable in your speech pattern, which in essence is mimicking their speech pattern. When you here something similar to your own delivery it provides that level of comfort to keep listening to what is being said.
