My Voice Experience

I have worked as a radio announcer for Moose FM in Bancroft, Ontario, Canada and apart from the ususal banter, I was also responsible for advertisments and the Joke Of the Day, inwhich many different characters were performed.
The recordings were all done digitally with the CoolEdit program.

My Training

No formal training, just a natural talent and a love of pheonetics. I was lucky enough that a radio staion gave me a go and I ended up getting the breakfast show. I guess I learned the in's and out's of the technical stuff there.

Additional Skills

My occupation at present requires me to have some what of a gift of the gab, I am a Mental Health Worker with Canadian Mental Health Assoc. and do alot of crisis counselling. I have had many people tell me they love my voice and am often asked, "What's that from?" when referring to a skit or something I'm reciting, ( which is often!)
