Voice Description

My voice is very versatile in nature. On a 'normal' basis, I have a soothing and calm sound. I can speak with emotion of any sort, in any voice of my capability. I am great at making my voice sounding whiny, nasaly, or high pitched which is good for roles of witches or children's characters. I can also be monotonous- good for comedic guest characters. I have upbeat tones, as well, which catch the ear immediately in commercials. I can do throaty sounds that sort of remind one of a mouth-breathing, stereotypical high school nerd. Oddly combined with these, I have the capability of very sensual tones.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I work well with accents and am very susceptible to picking them up. I am particularly good at British, Latina, Columbian, Canadian, Bolivian, New Jersey, American 'country', and Trans-Atlantic accents. Occasionally I can do a German accent, with some premeditating and practice. I do well with 'racial accents' as well, such as Ebonics and other ethnic tones.

My Voice Experience

A short background of my vocal history starts in 2005. I began doing plays and performing in show choirs. As my voice developed and matured, I was trained to use many different vocal techniques for multiple roles. Not only was this used for play performances, it was also used very largely in show choir to tell stories and present various styles in competition. In this field, I learned how to use my vocal cords and control them to my necessities in performing. I've continued learning and thriving over the past few years and hope to extend my journey to bigger things.

My Training

I have no famous names to put out in my experience, but my most definite proud history is being part of one of the top show choirs in the state of Indiana.
