My Voice Experience
Ever since I was young I wanted to be the voice in a cartoon, so I'd have my stuffed animals "talk and change voices". That's how I started. I'd also listen to people talk and always paid attention to different dialects and accents, and was able to mock them. I have done a internet voice over for Max C's Design Inc. Also, PSA's and air checks at Audio Net, NC Central Universities radio station. I have a CD with character voices that includes: A british woman, "valley girl", a child, "ghetto girl" and granny voice. I have also been in plays, such as: The Colored Museum, as the Lady in Plaid and Model.; The musical FAME as Carmen Diaz, The Morning After as Miss Desie (75 years old) Trouble in Mind as Eddie Fenton ( a male) and a tv show on WRAL-TV 5 Central Xpress.com as Dominique (no longer on air). Although my professional experience is limited I'm looking to start somewhere and I believe that I have the will, dedication, and talent to do so.
My Training
In December 2007 I will have a Bachelor of Arts degree from NC Central University. My major is Theatre concentration in communications. I have had voice and diction class, voice, audio production, reporting and writing for mass communication, and Writing for TV/Radio classes.

Additional Skills
Going to college has taught me a lot about how to use my voice, be in radio, or writing. I believe that only hands on experience can get me to where I need to be. I am hard working and have a passion for doing voice overs and character voices.
