Voice Description

I have a naturally deep and resonant voice which I love to use either as a serious voice over or as a mock-serious voiceover. As a classical singer I am trained in languages, including French, German, and Italian, and can do accents in just about any language, serious or exaggerated. As an actor I enjoy creating characters and am equally at home with serious or light-hearted projects, although I especially enjoy creating extreme, over-the-top characters.

My Voice Experience

My voice can be heard in many local projects, and on the nationally released CD "Thom King Sings Michael Isaacson". I suppose my most interesting gigs have been pizza-related: I made a commercial for Al Forno's restaurant in which I sang the praises of their pizza to the tune of Figaro's aria; and I played Neopolitan Opera Man in local radio spots.

My Training

I attended the Hartt School of Music, where I performed extensively on stage in opera, straight drama and musical theater. MyAs I primarily earn my living as a singer (Cantorial music and opera) my voice is always in good condition and I love doing projects where I can combine singing and speaking.
