My Voice Experience

I was trained as a broadcast journalist in the U.S. Navy more than 20 years ago, when the Philly was drilled out of my baritone voice. I've done radio news as an anchorman at WRTI-FM (Temple University, Philadelphia), disc jockey work, and recorded business news weekend reports for KYW Newsradio (CBS) in Philadelphia for two years. I have done several voice-overs for commercial work that has been broadcast nationally in recent years. I have made my living chiefly as a news reporter and writer, but am consistently told I have a great voice.

Broadcast journalism "A" and "C" schools, U.S. Navy.

B.A., Communications, Temple University.

Award-winning journalist for daily and weekly newspapers, and news web sites.

Currently an editor with a prominent, national, publicly traded multi-media company, where I regularly work with audio, video and voice-overs.

My Studio Equipment

None at this time, but I have easy access to professional equipment through colleagues with their own recording business, and another who works everyday with several Philadelphia area radio stations.

Additional Skills

I hate to brag, but I am constantly told, unprompted, that I have a "great voice." I am often asked if I work in radio.
