I am a playwright who, in the process of writing (writing is re-writing), has listened to his recordings of his readings. They range from U. S. regional dialects, to military dialects and dialogue, to children's plays (the voices of trees, bears, eagles, et cetera). (I know that sounds silly, but it is a great way to measure the progress of character development.)
