Voice Description

I'm originally from Maryland and I still have that Mid-Atlantic accent, but I have been living in North Carolina since 1987 and people say I have a southern accent. I can do an exagerated southern draw with a not-so-bright perspective. I can do a deep voice as well as a Jerry Lewis whiney voice. I want to do serious professional presentations, but have not had much experience. A sexy voice I'm not.

Southern consumer, Yogi Bear, Mr. Magoo, Military Drill Instructor, Gomer Pyle, etc., but to be honest I have not been tested. I am willing to work for very little money to gain the experience.

My Training

I am college educated with a BS degree in Architectural Technology. I took speech and communication classes, and I have made many presentations for school work.

I spent twenty years in the U.S. Marine Corps where I did numerous presentations. I have been told more than once that I have a unique command of the English language.

My Studio Equipment

I have an Alesis condenser USB microphone with Audacity software and music and sound effects libraries.

Additional Skills

I am active in my church and have done voice work in holiday pageants, read scripture from the pulpit, and I read scripture every week as an adult Sunday School teacher.
