Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I have not developed any original characters of my own yet. If you are looking, I would be happy to work with you to come up with something new & unique. I can do many accent & dialects.

I'm a big fan of Monty Python & enjoy the many silly characters they come up with. I'm also a Simpsons fan & can do pretty good imitations of many of those characters. If you're looking for something along either of those lines of creative thought, I might be able to help you out.

I started out after high-school to pursue a career in the world of broadcasting. I love music & acting and everyone always told me what a great voice I had.

Recently, I've found my passion for this type of work growing strong again. So I have begun to reacquaint myself with the community.

My latest project was completed for The Attainment Company in Verona, WI, for educational software they produce.

My Training

I was first "discovered" during production of a high-school play that I was participating in. The script called for a "radio announcer" (off stage) & the producer requested that I read that part. I received many positive comments about my small part & was encouraged to look into this type of work.

I attended a small school in Wisconsin that was specializing in development of broadcasting and voice talent. I have also performed as a DJ in several nigh-clubs & a numerous wedding receptions. I worked for short a time for a local company as a special events DJ.

My Studio Equipment

I am recently completed construction a home-based recording studio. I am using an MXL 990 condenser microphone with the signal running through a Tascom US144 audio interface. I currently use a program called Audacity for capture and post-production work. I can record multiple tracks, add many special effects and your music if needed. I have a high-speed Internet connection for timely delivery of finished work.

Additional Skills

I've been self-employed since 2003.
I served in the U.S. Army for 9 years. I am honorably discharged as a sergeant.
I am currently the president of our local chamber of commerce until June 2011.
I am a youth mentor through Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
I serve on a non-profit organization supporting construction and operation of our local youth center.
