Voice Description

My voice is rather flexible in that I can get it to do pretty much anything I need it to do. I can go from rather "fake" voices such as used in cartoons, to a rather serious tone for things such as announcements or general male roles. I can honestly make my voice do just about anything.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Impersionations I can do would be of just about anything I've heard enough. I can do "stitch" from the "Lilo and Stitch" movie and similar voices as well as many impersonations along the lines of Jim Carrey and Sean Connery. As said previously, my voice is rather flexible so it would be quite the chore to list the sheer extent of impressions I can do. I am also fairly decent at speaking with holding a British accent. A few of the others I am able to perform are Scottish, Irish, and a few latino accents, though those are somewhat under-practiced.

My Voice Experience

I have done several voice acting sets over the past year specifically. these were all "dub" styled recordings in which we would record our lines individually and send them to the editor who would then parse all of the lines together to form the interactions. These sets were simply for a friend's project and it wasn't anything that was paid for, but it was professional nonetheless.

The director / producer / head of the entire project is Joshua Morgan and also creates music under the name "Jack of All Trades" for which I also provided talent for a song of his named "Retrospekt." All of this was done at home using my computer, Adobe Audition 1.5, and a USB microphone. I would simply record my lines and email them to him or send them via a messenger such as Windows Live or Yahoo Messenger.

My Training

I have been an entertainer (read: HAM) as far back as I can remember. I have always been one to imitate what I hear and to focus on my voice. I am mostly self-trained; however, this does not mean that my quality is poor. I have had a few singing and voice coaching lessons over the years and I have also attended college-level acting classes, though I have yet to earn my degree.

I am always singing and using voices other than my own and I'm always trying to find new ways to change my voice and even new ways to do old voices.

I have been in multiple musicals over the years including, of course, a high school production; an Off-Broadway production of "Two By Two"; and finally, another Off-Broadway production, and perhaps my favorite, Gilbert and Sullivan's "H.M.S. Pinafore." All throughout I was given voice coaching and tips.

I will be using a PC at home and audio editing software.

Additional Skills

I am a fast learner, personable, outgoing, friendly, and generally easy to get along with. I'm pretty good when it comes to taking direction and I also have multiple stage plays under my belt, so I have been live.
