My Voice Experience

I grew up in a radio environment. Dad was a DJ and announcer then moved to anchorman for a local TV station. My first announcing job was with my Dad at 1460 KRYS when I was 5 yrs old. By the age of 22 I was working in radio myself as DJ, newsman and commercial announcer. During this time, I was occasionally called to provide VO for TV spots, as well as the occasional narration for a local community access or educational TV program and a few jingles and image packages for other stations owned by the company which owned the station I was in. This is my first foray into the real world of pure voiceover without the "safety net" of a radio station.

My Training

1983-1985- Bobby Box (voiceover techniques, character development, studio production techniques) 1150 KDEF.

1985-1988- Bobby Stang (further voice acting and announcing techniques and production techniques in mono) 1580 KZIA.

1988-1991- Dave Lombardi (polishing of voice acting and mono production technique) 770 KOB.

2005-2006- 500+ leads answered in a wide variety of styles> You need it - I can provide it.
