My Voice Experience
My voice training began in the theater learning to break down and isolate individual sounds in dialects with the International Phonetic Alphabet. This technique not only resulted in an accurate performance of a dialect, but a better understanding of my own natural voice. I began working in commercial and industrial voice-over in the Midwest market. I found my strong suit was communication: using my voice to clearly convey what the client needed from the ad. As an actor, I always find my character through my voice. Voice-over is an exciting platform for me to do just that.

I am an accomplished improv actor and am more than comfortable going off the page if needed.
I am an avid reader who focuses on language, grammar, sentence structure, etc.
As an actor, I've learned how important taking direction is. I am always willing and able to try a take a different way.
I listen to copious amounts of spoken word (newscasts, podcasts, audiobooks, poetry) and am always looking for new ways to convey a message with my voice.
