Voice Description
I have a warm and rich baritone voice. It is factual for documentaries, convincing for television and radio ads and thorough for providing a caring telephone system voice. Outside of regular voiceovers, I also am a singer, providing a professional sound for various occasions. In the mid '80s, I developed a particular character voice, known as "Tex Critter", who is more like an "old salt" western cartoon character, good at describing "home-style" family restaurant dining. I can do a pretty good "southern dialect" voice as well. Over all, my voice has been described as "mezmerizing" and hypnotic in effect.

My Voice Experience
I started in radio back about the time that having a license wasnt anymore than clipping off the boxtop of a box of cheerios and sending it in. Back then (1977), I worked in radio voluntarily, which opened the door to various other radio jobs as an on-air personality. Over the years, I have worked in various radio stations, where you have to change the sound of your voice to match the format that the listener is tuned in for. Over the years, I have also worked in television doing 'man on the street' interviews and have been in hundreds of varied commercials in both radio and television.
My Training
I began performing arts in high school and college as a thespian. Enjoying that work immensley created a desire to be "ON-AIR". In 1977, I began working "on-air" as an announcer in a station in Wenatchee Washington called KIAM FM. I volunteered to get my foot in the door in radio. Then a year later, continued in a country radio station in Omak Washington. KOMW AM/FM. I continued to work in Washington state for a group of radio stations, followed by going to school for a marketing degree, then into television selling advertising and doubling as the voice for the station doing intro's and many many commercials for other salespeople on staff. Overall, I have been a program director in radio which is nothing more than being a trainer for the announcers available that work for your radio group. My career has been successful as my voice is excellant in providing a hypnotic effect for the listener.

Additional Skills
The most I can say here is that I am a 49 year old man that will provide you a very believable, compassionate voice, that allows the listener to 'tune-in'..which is important in any form of marketing. Ultimately, grabbing the listener's attention the first 3 seconds, is THE single most important item on a "wish list" for a marketer that takes the time to create an ad for his or her business.
