I was Santa Clause in my 3rd grade play. I'm 29 now so if you're looking for something more recent, my wife had me read her "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" in character. She loved it so the audience approval rating was 100%. In all seriousness I am just starting out and looking to build a portfolio of work. I have been a guest on a friend's amateur podcast as well.
Associates degree in general studies that I finished while completing the pre-requisite coursework for nursing.
My studio is my home desktop setup. I run an entry level mic into a dedicated sound card on my PC. After recording further work is done using audacity.
I was involved in my school bands from elementary up through college. I also did Jazz band in high school. These gave me a feel for how sound and audio work, even though not specific to voice.
Currently I am a nursing student. Studying pharmacology is a huge plus in my favor because if you can pronounce pharmaceutical drug names you can pronounce anything on god's green earth. I also have familiarity with the automotive world, as I used to work as a technician at a Honda dealership.
