I have done Voice over work for Club Disc Jockeys as well as Radio Disc Jockeys. I also Dj professionally on Junglefreeze website as well as for a local top 40 radio station here in Green Bay, WI.
Worked in the Communications industry for around one year, DJ-ed in Clubs for around 6 years and on the radio for about 3 years. I am also an avid CB and Ham Radio operator with a vast knowledge of electronics and how they work.
I use a PC with x4 Core Pentium (2.66GHz per core), 8 Gig's RAM, and 1Tb of HDD space running Adobe Audition with a list of VST plug-ins(Auto-Tune, iZotope Ozone4, and Ambience to name a few), as well as an MXL 990 Studio Condenser Mic and a Shure Dynamic Mic for Vocal work both run via XLR to USB converters.
I worked in 2 call centers back to back for around 4 years, I have a great knowledge in how an automated answering service should sound as well as personalized Voice Mail greetings. I have also worked in conjunction with an MIS department within one of the call centers for aid in PC repair and Web Site Design and building. I have a background in Emergency Medical as well. I believe that with this knowledge as well as other jobs I have done in the past, that understanding wording for Commercial's(TV/Radio), and/or on hold messaging would not be a problem to get across to the listeners and with that i would be more apt to getting customers attention.
