Voice Description

For commercials and narration, I have a smooth baritone voice that lends itself to everything from, low key, warm & friendly deliveries, to a more dramatic sound. In addition to commercials and narration, I am a voice actor and can also do many comedic voices and dialects.

Combine the funny stuff with my announcing and narration skills and I can be a true asset for any number of voiceover projects, including, but not limited to: voicemail greetings, on-hold messaging, commercials, web sites, animation, video games, e-learning, medical & corporate presentations.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I perform many character voices, but do not do celebrity impersonations. Characters can include gangsters, witches, mad scientists, cranky old folks (male & female), Santa Claus and his Elf, conmen, preachers, and darn near any funny character you may need. I am especially good at several different comedic dialects. Including, but not limited to: Brooklyn, Southern, Hillbilly, British, Cockney, Irish, Scottish, Italian, Australian, Russian & German.

My improv comedy background and previous work as an "old school" morning DJ (using LOTS of characters) lends itself to many possibilities for my clients.

My Voice Experience

I literally grew up as an entertainer, starting in high school and continuing on to today. In my 30+ year career, I have worked in radio as an air-personality, ad salesman, commercial copywriter, talent and producer. In television I have done commercials as on camera talent and voiceover artist, worked as an entertainment news anchor, news writer and commercial copywriter. I also have extensive experience as a live event emcee/announcer and corporate spokesman.

My Training

I attended The Ohio State University and am always looking to refine my acting skills and expand my knowledge of the industry and new technologies.

My Studio Equipment

In my home studio I currently work with a Shure SM7B mic and Mac based software. High speed cable internet and FTP can deliver large files easily, or I can rip to disk, if preferred.
