Voice Description

My voice is low, deep with a slight Texas accent. When needed I've used a more heavy Southern accent, for talking books I use a soothing narrative style when needed, use emotions in the book when needed. I've done the English on Hebrew language tapes, and for this I use my low, slightly sensual voice.

For professional talking books I use a steady, smooth professional voice.

My Voice Experience

For a Hebrew to English Learning tape I did the English voice, someone said the sentance in Hebrew, I repeated it in English. The producers received MANY compliments about my low, slightly sensual voice. Haifa, Israel

I did volunteer work for Blind Talking Books, and in line with what the book was about, I switched emotions according to what was being read. The favorite of listeners was the Kahil Gibran recording. In this I also used a low, soft slightly sexy voice.

All Sallie Mae Loan Servicing Center answering menus and hold messages. My low, slight Texas accent is very soothing to most people and they also got MANY compliments on the answering voice!

Additional Skills

I've had many seminars on Diplomancy and these have helped me with my voice, learning to use it in situations to my advantage. Since I have such a good female speaking voice, I have been able to diffuse situations with the way I talk to a person.
