My Voice Experience

I recently voiced the audio book "Everything I want to do is illegal" by noteworthy author Joel Salatin!

I worked hard to receive a degree in Broadcasting at Otterbein University. During that time, I started 2 original shows for the local college station (WOBN FM), and performed on air with their public television station (WOCC TV). That involved producing, directing and performing promos, PSA's, complete on air shows, and remote broadcasts.

Right out of college I began working at WHOK-FM, WLVQ-FM AND WAZU FM as an on air personality, as well as traffic assistant. I also assisted with doing news and traffic reports as needed. I learned production for commercials and promos, and had much more extensive experience with interviews and remote broadcasts.

I have also done voice work for Xenos Christian Fellowship for sermon broadcasts, as well as several programs.

I recently graduated from Ron Allan's voice acting courses, to broaden my horizons and experience with voice work.

I currently use a Blue Snowball, but will be upgrading soon to a Harlan Hogan microphone. I run windows/Audacity, but will also be upgrading as well.

Additional Skills

I have been a long time musician, which I believe helps me "sing along" with my voice work.

I really prefer projects that actually have a heart or meaning behind them, and would like to hear the story about how they got the point where they would like a voice talent to accent their work.

I've spent a lot of time on hold, and taking phone calls, so I can act those personalities very efficiently to show businesses in a professional manner by phone.
