Voice Description
I believe the essence of our souls and how we are perceived by others are revealed in our voices; therefore, I have placed special emphasis on using my voice to influence or create the mood.
As a motivational speaker and spoken word artist, my voice is clear, full, projected and inspiring.
As the host and producer of various music shows for Internet radio, I use a clear, rich voice for announcements and commercials, or sometimes a sexy voice for jazz, a little jamacian accent for reggae, a little volume and high energy for gospel, a few Spanish phrases for my latin music show, add a little slang, speed and volume for R&B and an audible, moderate whisper for easy listening.
Your wish is my command for voiceovers and commercials.

My Voice Experience
It all started as a hobby. I had previous experience in commercials and voice-overs as a poet, TV co-host and vocalist and WHIL 91.3 FM in Mobile was seeking a jazz announcer to fill a vacancy with one of their pilot projects. I have a vast collection of music so I volunteered to be a jazz presenter/producer for WHIL and they were so pleased with my work that eventually I was hired as a paid staff member. During the four years of employment with WHIL, I purchased the necessary equipment to pre-record my shows at home so that my Saturday nights would be FREE again.
"THE JAZZ COLLECTION" received many compliments and great reviews that lead to an offer to produce shows for worldwide syndication via People Saving Children Radio Network www.pscradio.com, www.fbccradio.com and www.shoutoutusa.com CPI radio network. Since then I have added a self-help talk show, "THINK ABOUT IT WITH THEOLA BRIGHT", using celebrity interviews, music, spoken word, and songs to help others solve their problems.
My Training
I started as a poet in 1981 during my junior college years when I was asked to recite for a TV show (The Morning Web) in Ft. Lauderdale on channel 51. To enhance the recital and set the mood, I decided to add background music and the host, Frederick McCoy, was so pleased that he asked if I would be a regular on his show to give,"THE THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK" each Monday morning. Eventually, I was asked to co-host the show with him and in his absence.
As my popularity grew, I was asked to recite on other TV, radio, and stage shows. My poetry appeared on Celestial Tea boxes and Miami-Dade Public Library system named an annual poetry competition and awards ceremony in my honor,"THE T.C.BRIGHT POETRY AWARDS". This encouraged me to publish my poetry [three books] , record my presentations [three CD's],& DVD recordings of performances and speaking engagements. Now, I share my experiences as a motivational speaker.
My Studio Equipment
AUDACITY and a good ear.
