Voice Description

My regular speaking voice can be a little bit raspy, but when prompted, the raspiness disappears for me to go into any other type of voice I desire (girl, old lady, foreign accent, sultry, etc.).

My voice is mid-deep, but depending on the needs of the project, the tone can go up or down. The deeper it goes, the more sultry it becomes.

My Voice Experience

I have done office answering service voice overs and done reading tapes for children (for churches and business holiday projects). Children were capitvated by the drama and voice effects I did with the books, characters, sound effects, etc.

I have often been pulled over by my colleagues (mostly female, if you can believe it) at my white-collar jobs and told I have the sexiest answering voice of anyone they have ever heard and sometimes they just call me to hear my voice and it calms them down.

Additional Skills

I have been a camp counselor, nursing assistant, customer service representative, receptionist, executive assistant, and a project manager. All these require different needs, tones and use of my voice, as needed. I have gotten the effective attention of people with different use and tones. Although the listener doesn't see me in a recording, I often find physical gestures and acting help with the affectation of the recording.
