Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Love doing different kinds of british accents: cockney, masterpiece theatre-y, Beatle-y.
Pakistani, Rodney Dangerfield, I'll try anything. I love messing with dialects.
My Voice Experience
I have no pro voice over experience other than the work that I do in my own studio. I have recorded a couple of songs that use a spoken word vocal track. I have done a few bumps for the podcast "Dial-A-Dork", which is based in Cleaveland. Those bumps were conceived and recorded complete in my studio.
My Training
I took a course in 1974 at the Recording Institute of America. Of course, all of the equipment that I learned on is now in the Smithsonian. The rest of my recording and voice experience comes from a lifetime of playing and recording myself and others. I have no formal voice training other than the fact that I've been talking my whole life.
My Studio Equipment

Additional Skills
I am a musician that plays the drums (my main instrument) and also some guitar, bass and a little keyboard. Enough to play on my own recordings. I play all by ear. I'm very easy going and I can get along with anybody. I had my own machine shop for many years so I understand the business end of things. It's great to have fun but there's work to be done. I am punctual to a fault. I'm always on time so, therefore, I'm the only one that knows that about me.
