Voice Description

My voice is a double-edged sword. I can make it somewhat high, but very deep when need be. I am young (19) and always get compliments from women on my voice. I have imitated a friend's father on the phone once, and the person on the other end believed it. Women have said I sound in my mid-30s, and I constantly get asked "Why are you not on the radio?" when speaking with other people. Other people are simply stunned, when perhaps talking on the phone, that such a young man is on the other end.

People have called my voice akin to Barry White's, but I do not believe it to be so. Then again.. perhaps it is! Regardless of the voice-over needed, I can do it so long as a deep, masculine, voice is required.

My Voice Experience

As I am young, I have no formal voice-over experience. I would love to get into the business and learn though!

My Training

Being a voice-over would be a natural thing to me. I listen to Rammstein, and with the lead singer's deep voice (I believe mine is deeper), I like to imitate the fluctuations in his voice as the song progresses. I know how to effectively make my voice deeper or higher than my normal voice would be. Also, as I am a native of the south, there is a slight, but muffled, southern accent to it. It usually is not noticable, but can and does occasionally slip out.
