I am told that my voice sounds "very sexy" on the phone. "Soothing, comforting, very pleasant and professional," are how friends describe my voice, as well.
In the morning my voice is very deep, in timbre, and then raises in pitch as my vocal chords loosen up.

My Voice Experience

I have absolutely no professional experience as a "voice over" professional. I did spend 14 years singing back-up harmonies in several bands that I was in from 1975 until 1987, and then, again in 2001 through 2005. I have no recordings of my voice, as of yet

My Training

I have no training in doing voice overs. I took 5 years of piano training from age 8 through age 13. Then, over a period of several years, I taught myself how to play the guitar. By the time I was 18 years old I was fairly proficient at the guitar. When I was 20, I purchased and taught myself to play the pedal steel guitar. At the age of 23, I began playing the pedal steel guitar and the six-string electric guitar professionally, in a band and earmed $50 a night. This is when I began singing back-up harmony.
