My Voice Experience

15+ years in commercial radio have helped me to refine my voiceover range and skills. Over the course of my career, I've produced thousands of radio commercials, I've hosted hundreds of recorded public affairs programs, and I've provided a huge variety of voices for radio comedy skits. I have also served as emcee for a variety of charitable and business events. Today, I concentrate my efforts on providing quality voiceover imaging for radio stations, and voiceover for radio and television commercials.

My Training

My education includes a wide variety of courses related to voice presentation; advertising and marketing, public speaking, radio production, and broadcast journalism.

Most of my training has been in-the-field. I spent nine years working full-time with a morning radio show host who required a variety of voices for comedy skits. I spent six additional years as a full-time radio personality and commercial producer. As producer of a weekly public affairs radio program, I have also coached scores of local individuals through various recorded voice projects.

My Studio Equipment

My studio equipment includes a high quality Audio Technica microphone, Symetrix voice processor, Mackie mixer and high speed broadband internet connection. My clients receive high quality audio files via e-mail or ftp access. I am willing to travel to a sound studio in my area upon request. Of course, I can also provide audio files on a CD if needed.

Additional Skills

With nearly two decades of radio experience, I feel that I have a unique insight into the needs of programmers and their advertisers. Put simply, I "get it." Call to action, tug the heartstrings, etc., all comes very naturally to me. I am detail oriented, and will give every project my full attention to ensure client satisfaction!
