My Voice Experience

I worked at CBS Radio for 3 years and did some voice over work there to include a one hour once a week community affairs show, I produced and edited; for a year and a half. The show was mainly geared towards business professionals and the community at large. I met with all sorts of people and had to improvise when needed. I have also done narrations for stories, voice overs for professional presentation pieces and also voice overs for short films back in college. I also was a DJ on air in college for 2 years. I love drama and acting.

My Training

My training was hands on. It started while in grammar school I was asked to narrate a childrens book, from there in high school I was in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as one of the wives.
I went on to collegeand majored in Marketing with a minor in Communications studies. While there I was a DJ for two years and also enrolled in public speaking courses to strengthen my tone and voice. I worked on air doing commercials and ended up producing and editing CBS Radio's community affairs show which I hosted most weeks for the hour long show.

Additional Skills

I have also been involved in a lot of Community Groups that supported my growth and professional career. Having an interest in the Revitalization of our city, a drive for community, and a business savvy out of the ordinary. My talents have recently brought me to a new career change where I have become a Yoga Instructor and hope to continue using my voice not only for the support of others but also out the publics eye as well.

I am creative, bright, fun and quick witted which also attributes to my magnetic personality.
