My Voice Experience

I have always had phone jobs that required me to speak in a calm, soothing, relaxed, confident tone whether explaining insurance benefits or discussing a bill that is due. I have been told on countless occasions that I sound like the recorded voice while on hold and they could not tell if I was a real person or not. I have the ability to calm any irate situation simply by the way I use my voice tone and rhythm. This is a natural ability that I am now choosing to focus on and make a career out of.

My Training

I have been trained by top call centers such as Alltel and Medical Mutual of Ohio as to how to use my voice to gain favorable results and calm irate people in many different situations. I am also a singer and have always enjoyed speaking and hearing myself recorded in song for almost 30 years.

Additional Skills

I recently was speaking to an insurance member over the phone who stated she is a school teacher and was intrigued by my voice. She asked if I ever thought about recording stories for children books or doing something with my voice talent. She stated it was very soothing and inviting and that I needed to find out how I can get into that industry and use the talent God gave me to speak and sound good while doing it. I then started to pay close attention to the other voices I heard during the day and realized that not everyone has a nice speaking tone of voice. I even noticed some people even attempted to clear their own voices and put their best vocal foot forward when they heard me speak. Also I noticed men seem to melt at the sound of my voice:)
