My Voice Experience

As a primary school teacher it is imperative that we learn to tell stories and read them with a voice inflection that will captivate our audience. My Georgia students always loved story time in my class. I "became" the characters in the book instead of simply reading the book. Much is the same with bedtime stories at my Manhattan apartment. Though I have not done any voice overs to date, I feel this experience will lend itself to providing critical sucess for me in this field.

My Training

Studying storytelling and great story tellers in college helped me to learn to change my voice and become more than a reader in order to captivate my audience. I feel this is especially important in advertising. One must make a memorable impression on the audience if a product is to be remembered and bought/sold.
