My Voice Experience
Ted has been the voice of literally thousands of radio station commercials since the 1970's, with some of the most successful advertising campaigns in the client's history. Ted was a longtime spokesperson for the highly visible Lindora "Lean-for-Life" program, Park Place Funding, South Coast Laser Centers, Faces International and more. He was the voice of a television campaign for Western Dental Group and the sole movie trailer voice for the international movie hit "Passionada". Ted was known in the 1980's as Dr. Ted for radio station KFI Radio is Los Angeles. When it came to reading medical copy with numerous diseases or treatments, Ted read the copy with a smooth and believable delivery. So, naturally he read them all. Ted has also voiced several training audio sets for sales and marketing and the Real Estate and mortgage industries. In addition, Ted has provided his services to live music and drama on-stage productions. He's a popular and frequent voice host at Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove.
My Training
A.A. degree in Radio-TV Production and programming. Attended the Bobbi Morris TV commercial classes and the Tony Barr Film Actors workshop. Also, attended various workshops at AFI. Learned from some of the most skilled and best known voice and production people in the business, including Dave Sebastian Williams and Mark Ford (who produced radio's "The History of Rock n Roll" for Drake-Chenault). Have been involved in performing arts since the age of five as both an actor and singer. Have been used frequently as a copywriter on campaigns and projects.
