British accent and character voice for fun.
I am originally an English Speaking South African voice. This is often confused with being British/English or Australian.
I can give you some fun characters like cockney, Scottish, or Irish too - though a lot of what I do is serious documentary stuff.
I am in the advertising-production business, so I understand those requirements.
I would say I range between mid twenties and mid fifties in age. I do sometimes do the old, pompous English Army Officer type as well.

I can give you a "neutral-type" English read. I can make it more British/English if required.
Being a bilingual South African, I can do Afrikaans as well. I do various, hard-sell, retail Afrikaans voiceovers for various clients.
I do Australian, New Zealand, London-English, Irish, Scottish and a straight South African (British)read.
I write and record songs in the vocal-style of John Lennon if anyone needs that?
My Voice Experience
I have run an independent, International Production Facility doing radio, TV and music projects since the late eighties.
These projects have been used on radio, TV and internet over the decades.
I have worked with many of the bigger international agencies JWT, Y&R, Saatchi & Saatchi ..... and have won countless international awards in this field. LIAA, New York Festivals, IBA Hollywood Broadcast Awards etc.
I compose and perform jingles, arrangements, TV and radio commercials.
Originally from a musical-production background, I have an Elec Eng Degree and use this to great effect in digital, Computer-based recording techniques. Also in full productions and setting the highest standards in recordings.
I use bleeding edge recording gear, mics, equipment and plugins to get the sound people recognize as "professional".
I have lectured in my field and have an international composer's number.
My Studio Equipment
I run my own full-production studio sometimes featured in top music magazines:
Console is Allen & Heath GS3V 32 track 32-8-32-2 console and Yamaha 01V 96.
I use AKG414, Neumann 87i's, RodeNT2, multiple Shure and many more microphones.
I use an Apple eight core 3GHz machine running Motu DP5.13 with Motu audio interfaces to record and mix. HD192, 2408mkii,308 and 24i/o.
My Plugins include WAVES Gold, Renaissance, SSL. Also TC Electronic PowerCore.
I use Universal Audio 6176 pre-amps, Focusrite VoiceMasters and Rane VP12s. I can record to DAT, CD, 1/4" Reel to reel at 7.5, 15 and 30IPS.
We can master most projects to international standards with TC external gear, or Mac Plugins.
Studio Monitors are Yamaha NS10's, KRK V6's, ADAM A7's and various others.
Virtual Midi instruments include IK Miroslav, SampleTank 2.5, Sonic Synth, Native Instruments Komplete Five, Reason.
There are fifty guitars and basses here. Gibson, Rickenbacker, Fender, Steinberger, Grestch etc. Amps are VOX, Marshall, Roland, Peavey etc.
Drum kit is Yamaha studio kit with AKG and Shure mic rig.
Output gear is DBX, Manley, SPL and others.
You get the picture................
In addition to writing and performing jingles, orchestral-arrangements, writing ad copy and songs, singing, performing, engineering - I have always enjoyed theater-of-the-mind type commercials.
I was sixteen before South Africa had a TV network, so I grew up listening to Sac’s radio dramas and excellent radio ads and jingles.
I have run studios; consulted during large sales of recording gear for studios around the world ... today I am also a Creative Services Director for a group of radio stations in Oregon serving the west coast.
I advise clients on their radio branding and I create imaginative ad campaigns for them. Last year I won "Oregon Broadcaster's Radio Ad Of The Year".
This industry requires one to understand and be comfortable in many sciences. I try to be good at them all.
