Voice Description

I'm especially fond of doing narrations, documentaries, demonstration videos, audio books, and other projects which require intelligent interpretation of the written word.

I have an extensive background in sports broadcasting and ring announcing so I understand the hard, upbeat sell as well.

My Voice Experience

I've been working professionally as a voice talent for 18 years, mostly in the Asia Pacific region.(I'm originally from the east coast of the US.) I've performed hundreds of commercials for both radio and television, and done narrations for a range of documentaries.

RING ANNOUNCER for over 300 professional boxing shows in Asia/Pacific, including several world title fights. I have also emceed for professional pool tournaments, beauty pageants,and hundreds of other shows. I ring announced for a fight in Manila in front of 100,000 people, a world record. I'm the only known person to have ever ring announced a major cockfight in the Philippines. As a ring announcer I've worked in Hawaii, the Philippines, Guam, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand.

Played the lead detective for several years in America's largest Murder Mystery company, Keith and Margo's Murder Mystery Evening and Weekend.

HOST, "Talkin Sports," KFVE-TV Channel 5, Honolulu, Hawaii. Live weekly Sports Talk Show.

I'm also a working journalist and author. My first book, “Hey, Joe--a slice of the city, an American in Manila” offers readers 33 humorous and sometimes eye-popping stories relating the foreigner’s viewpoint of life in Manila.

My second book, “The Traveler and the Gate Checkers," is a collection of five travel narratives telling of my journeys through various Asian countries like India, Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand/Laos and the Philippines.
