My Voice Experience

I did computer generated voice-overs for a website that needed a sexy, Australian-sounding female avatar. Did another for a website that needed a friendly elder male with a hispanic accent for an avatar (Death Valley). A drunk vulgar elder male avatar for another website.
Did a few promos for websites.

Have been working hard for the past six months coming up with new textual editing techniques to make text-to-speech characters sound very good and more clear.
Good enough by today's standards I believe to offer as a low cost solution to independent and small publishers who are on a tight budget and want a decent audiobook made, or need voice over for some other purpose but cannot afford to have anything professionally done.
For this reason, my rates are extra low, as the quality of voice over by synthetic voice cannot presently match the quality of the human professional.
Still, it's a decent alternative for some projects. Maybe yours!

I'm a computer technician by trade. A+ Certified.
I only do contract work. I also had one of the largest paper routes in Oklahoma City last year for supplemental income, and that too was contractual.
Point being that I am accustomed to having projects and deadlines and getting things done on time.
I quit the route so I could devote plenty of time to voice over projects.
I always fulfill my obligations. I work my butt off to do the best job possible and find solutions to every problem that needs a remedy.
I am relentless in my pursuit for perfection, even when the technology does not cater to my desire.
I love this stuff. It's challenging.
