My Voice Experience
My career started in broadcasting school casting for our news intro, my voice is baritone, and my even accent helped me win my first part, after that I knew I wanted to be a VO artist. My first job was for a local Bowling Alley(Suburban Lanes)The spot had more effect than projection, had to catch the balance and make the right mix.
The jobs after were with family mostly, and for free so I was still working on my craft getting better. In the summer of 2005 started at a local radio station (AM), working the overnight shift and learned about real announcing. The people I heard were pro's and that's what i wanted to be... I started reporting the news, then a news caster, then production assistant, the station started letting me do small projects station promos, and back to's.
I started doing work for a car lot, 3 spots that ran local the spring sale, summer sale, and labor day weekend. That caught on and started doing work for a Limo service, and they let me do there fleet spots, (sir oil express,Aztec Limo's).
My Uncle has a club in the metro area and he let me MC a few events, that helped me with the hype aspect, now I do work at my day job (Killian's Engineering)the phone answering system and presentations. This has gave a introduction to the business, and i hope to stay in the business.....
