My Voice Experience

My voice melts in the mind like chocolate in the mouth. Or so I have been told. Mind you, I did have a serious cold at the time.

Still, I seem to have one of those voices that has been shaped by life experience – travelling the world and living abroad served to heighten my ability to dip in and out of differing accents, moods and emotions in my voice.

Having a tuned ear also means that I am a great immitator – look, I HAD to fit in when my parents ripped me out of my school in the UK and deposited me in one in Kuwait, and then Ireland, and then South Africa... :)

Needless to say I am not shy of stretching my voice – or my talent. So try me out. You WON'T be disappointed...

I’m also an independent copywriter, editorial consultant and nosey parker (hey, it’s my job!). I have considerable experience — almost 14 years’ combined professional practice, the latter two focusing on copywriting — in both the B2B and consumer markets.

Having worked across the fields of journalism, marketing communications and PR, I understand different audiences, can flip across the spectrum and quickly absorb new material. I appreciate the importance of an appropriate tone and style. And I have learned to respect tight deadlines and quick turnarounds, too.
