My Voice Experience

There's really only TWO types of clients who call on me.

The ones who need a warm, friendly, authoritative voice to guide their listeners with confident smile. And then there's the ones who want it turned up to 11 -- an over-the-top "classic" announcer for comedic spots. Like a game show host from hell. And on the rare occasion, I've been asked to perform both within a single spot. Good times!

My Training

My education has come strictly from on-the-job experience. It all began when I was editing a show for the Fox Network. A voice over artist decided not to show up for a particularly crucial session, so I stepped in and recorded the lines. It's been a non-stop education ever since.

My Studio Equipment

I record on a variety of microphones including an AKG Perception 200, an AKG D790, a Sennheiser ME66, and a Blue Microphones Yeti. I typically record directly into my Mac Pro workstation and post process all recordings in either Pro Tools, Digital Performer, Soundtrack, Final Cut Pro or Propellerhead's Record.

In addition to voiceover, I've worked extensively in music recording, and received several accolades, including an Emmy nomination.

Additional Skills

I've spent years producing radio spots and promos for all the major motion picture studios in Los Angeles. My award winning work as been used to successfully launch major franchises, including American Pie, and the Eddie Murphy Nutty Professor/Klump films.
